    GS1 won't POST

    So I got a GS1 off Ebay for $500, No AC adapter, Battery, or OS installed.

    I just got the AC adapter in and while it does power up - It won't post. I remember old IBM's acted same way if they had power but no battery. Is this the case with the GS1 as well? Hope so - RMA's are such a hassle......

    In short, no. The computer should power up even without battery, assuming it gets power from the adapter. There is a good chance that the computer is broken, I'm afraid.
