Usually your router is faster than your internet connection to your service provider, so it won't be the bottleneck.

ok i really need to understand this. when i use my Wireless N only router (linksys WRT300N), the download of crysis demo from gamerhell randomly changes. it goes from 300KBPS at the start to 50kbps and stays there for like 10mins maybe goes up to 800-900 and keeps fluctuating. When im using a wired connection it is stable at 800KBPS. steam goes at about 1.4mbps with wired, without its 100KBPS. whats the problem? my rated speed with wirelessN in network manager is 135MBPS.

is this how networking works? that you have a speed of 135MBPS liek above but ur ISP one that you bought says its rated to "up to 6mbps", meaning that only 6/135MBPS is used? if so why would you ever need Wireless-N cuz AFAIK, the highest possible rite now is fiberoptic at 50mbps. so G should be able to handle that rite?

also plz help me in how i can get consistent and fast internet speed...

You need faster Wireless speed when sharing files on your LAN ( Local area network ), or remote accessing others PC's, or when watching pron from your friends PC =D

Theres tons of situations where you need faster speeds xD

lol the wait killing ya riight? i had a ton of projects on first week of school....sophomore AP chem, love teh subject, hate the HW. but yea i couldnt go to sleep on monday when it was in fedex cuz i recieved it that afternoon. truly is a powerful notebook. anyways, the backlid i must say is the coolest thing ever. i actaully love it more than the white one. the black+blue may look juvenile but in my high skool experience, ppl say WOWZA!!!! not...OMFG this guy is such a 5yr old.

anyway any way somecan can help me make my speed of wireless = landline cuz wireless N should be able to output it. Although is cuz it purely wireless, that its always gonna be slow? as in, no matter what it says on the network (54, 135mbps etc)...it will always be slower than landline?

This may not matter to you, but N also has a further range of use and generally less interference from outside sources.
