I cannot find the correct driver for this Graphics Card. For some reason it is not listed under Nvidias site... Should I just use the 8600s drivers? I'm not sure....

    Any help would be good.

No major problem with the card, My Call of Duty 4 game just freezes for about 10 seconds then goes back into the game and I want to fix this.

You won't find any mobile GPU drivers on the Nvidia site. Try laptopvideo2go.com instead. However, you can also download the driver from the Asus website too.

laptopvideo2go.com site fixed my 9500M/FEAR problem with freezing & locking up.

Just make sure you get the driver for correct OS & their latest inf file. But it's definitely worth a try.

The 174.74 doesn't work. I saw some people saying that they used that one, and I do not understand how. Ima try some other ones though.

I used the 169.09 that someone else here tried & that's the one that worked for me. I tried the 174.74 a week or 10 days ago & it caused more problems than helped.

I think that was me. I use the 169.09 drivers and have had really good luck with them. They fixed the driver crashes I was getting from time to time, and added resolutions/options to my nvidia control panel. I didn't even delete the old drivers, I just installed overtop of them.

The 169.09 isn't working either and on laptopvideo2go.com I couldn't find ANY drivers compatible with this 9500.

    What am I doing wrong?

I am running vista (so besides that)

    http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers/vista (vista 32)

try that - the drivers are universal so they work with most nvidia mobile graphics cards. If you go to the main page they have newer drivers then the one I use, but I haven't tried them out. I figured if 169 was working, why rock the boat.

Ok try what I did for my F8Sn. Go to the link provided by Butr0sButr0s.

Look to upper right at "latest drivers" then click on 167.45 for Vista32 driver.

Then click on the "driver" & save it to disc. Then , & this is important , right click on the "Modded INF" (it's called nvdm.inf) & save it to wherever you save your files to disc.

Now you have your Vista 32 video driver (167.45) AND your modded inf file saved.

Now open & extract the "16745_vista.exe" files to wherever you save them to. Once you have extracted the files go to your saved nvdm.inf file & move or copy it to the same directory the expanded files from the 16745_vista.exe are located. There is already a version of a nvdm.inf file in there. Just replace it when asked. Once you do that just run "setup" & you will be good to go. That nvdm.inf file has 9500M support built in.

I always remove any Nvidia video drivers , reboot & then install from the Vista default vga driver but some say that's not necessary.

Good. That latest driver & modded inf has been the most stable combo for me so far.
