Hey, I was wondering if their is any place that will ship the S96J right now? I am thinking of purchasing at Gentech, but they say Pre-Order, ETA end of July. Do they have any in stock?
    Thanks for all the replies.

From other posts here in the forum - there's a global shortage of S96 units.... nobody has them in NA until the next ship arrives from Taiwan, which is supposed to be late July.

ClearSkies has hit it on the head.

No one has them now, but the new shipment will be in either later this week or early next week. Even as we speak, this shipment is virtually sold out, so if you want to get yours from this next shipment I strongly recommend getting your order in right away.

All dealers will be getting them at essentially the same time, although the West Coast dealers will get them first simply because of shipping time.

I think Cyberpowerpc has them. I email Ken(Guy at Gentech) he said he should be getting more next week.

Paladin; if its possible, do you know how many units will be shipped out all together from ASUS or is that confidential?

Yeah.. I was gonna say... if you can take a hit here and there (maybe reduce HD size by 20 GB or so and less RAM for now)... the Z96J is a really good deal with WSXGA+ and BT...

ASUS is bringing in several hundred pieces of the Z96Js. It is their "flagship" of the Built on ASUS line and we expect to have a steady supply.
