Is there anything that I should do to my new computer right away. Anxiously waiting for it to arrive later today. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank You

Like any new laptop, do a clean install or just uninstall all the programs you don't want/need.
Second, apply all the necessary security updates from Microsoft and download a good Anti-Virus/spyware software.
Third, register your laptop online, via phone or mail to activate your 1 year accidental warranty
Third, if you're like me, download a few benchmarking utilities to see what your laptop is capable of running (eg 3dmark06, pcmark05, vantage, hdtune etc)
Fourth, just have fun with your new to! :D
