Okay, it's been about a month for using the UX31 and I am really really getting
sick of its stupid slow wireless.

I am on the newest BIOS (209) and newest wireless driver (the one that was announced on 12/14).

Even with the older BIOS/older wireless driver, older BIOS/newest wireless driver,
and newest BIOS/older wireless driver combination, the wireless is incredibly slow. (the older wireless is the one was known to be faster than newer ones discussed in this forum)

Are there really no solutions to fix this problem?

What wireless card does the UX31 have in it?

The new Atheros driver did not address the random disconnect issue for my wife's UX31. It's very unfortunate as it's an otherwise beautiful laptop, but I think we'll be returning the unit for something else.

We went through 3 units and all had the problem with latest driver, BIOS, and power settings tweak. No other laptops and wireless devices have had the disconnect issue.
