I'm going on driving vacation in 4 days and I would love to have a car adapter and a anti-glare "skin" along for the trip.

Does anyone know if Asus uses the same car adapter for all of its notebooks? Specifically does the S96j use the N10CG1114 adapter? Any other car adapter recommendation for the S96j?

While I love the glare screen on my S96j it is very hard to use during the day in a car. I have heard that there are anti-glare skins that can go on the screen. Anyone here know which are the good ones and where I can get one?

    Thanks!

Hmm, i was just on a reseller's website and i couldn't find any car adapter for any of the Yonah series laptops.

You may wanna call in for that.
Or go to Radio Shack and ask them about a generic car adapter if that's applicable.

Now regarding the screen that goes onto the laptop. I've seen it before at a show, its a nice invention, but when looking at it I realised you loose all viewing angles and some brightness, you can only look at your laptop from one direction.

This screen was also made to stop others from looking at your screen from various angles which made the viewing angles obsolete.

I highly suggest sitting in your car, with full sun hitting you and see how good/bad the glare is for you.

You may wanna check out Kensignton products for the screen. They may have a car charger too?

Hope this helps, bon voyage :D lol

    Thanks,

For my laptop, I just bought a power inverter, so you just take you normal ac plug. they're not that much either, like 40-50, It has worked for me for a few years. And I can't offer any help for your glare, sorry.
