So after lurking quietly around these forums for some time, I've decided to purchase a A8JS from MilestonePC today! Danny has been extremely helpful answering my emails...I had some hesitation since I live in Asia now and was worried about the long trip the laptop would have to make over here. But I am pretty confident in the quality of service from the company.

Anyhow, if you are thinking about buying from Milestone and live overseas, check back here for my review once I get my laptop! :)

    I'm in SEA...directly south of Malaysia :p

The site says there is a 2 year global warranty on the laptop, and Danny mentioned that he ships USPS with insurance, so that should be good...I'm paying through my credit card (has a US address, but I just added my Asia address as a shipping address)

i want to know as well. i live in Malaysia & might actually but online from overseas if the warranty & service can work out locally.

i was wondering, if you go for service or a repair when you get the laptop, where would you go? Send it back through air-freight? approach the local? or how? *really curious*
