I'm a notebook noob looking to buy an Asus A8JM. I have had "problems" related to customer service issues in the past when buying from, well, pretty much every computer store I've ever purchased from. I am primarily interested in purchasing from a reseller with a solid customer service record; if the price isn't rock bottom, oh well. I'd rather pay a few bucks extra and order from someone who won't screw me over.
EDIT: And yes, I have read the newbie thread, I do know which Asus resellers are out there, but suffice to say that at least one of those stores is on my blacklist, so I'd like a little extra advice![]()

go to milestonepc.com (aka canadasys), low prices, good service!.
They are really good. Check em out.
Thanks,

I agree... MilestonePc (CanadaSys) is good. He's the only one (that I know of) who even bothers hanging around the forums to help out. That says something about their attitude towards good service.

for myself, i have always had a positive experience at ncix.com. even tho customer service is a little slow because its always so busy, they do try there best to make you happy and i have always been able to get things there cheaper than anywhere else. if you haggle a little about the price most of the time they will take a little bit more off for you!

For westside, go to ncix.com. for eastside, go to milestonpc.com.

Remember that you can save the PST if you order from outside of the province, which is substantial given a notebook's value.

i just realized i am a reseller myself because i can get products from a wholesaler at about 10% less than ncix and i have a business license... tho i never really bother doing it and just use it for myself. i seriously neverthought about that lol

Thanks guys
I'll definitely look into both MilestonePC and NCIX (well, I have already, heh
). NCIX is definitely cheaper because I don't have to pay PST, but I'm not ruling MilestonePC out because it would be better service-wise to order from somewhere nearby.
Hey, wait a minute ... I have a Montreal address I could ship to if I use Milestone so I don't have to pay Ontario PST ... hmm ... and I think it speaks for the fact that PST is too darn high that it would cost me less to make a round trip to Montreal to pick it up than it would to pay the PST. -
MilestonsPC.. I had a great out of province purchase experience with them
Good Canadian Asus resellers?
