Nice, I can't wait for this release. Although the C90p is making it harder for me to choose. Now only if Asus has a date for that as well.

maybe i'm blind, but it looks to me like this is just a notice that this will be shown at computex on 6/5... i don't see anything about a release time frame. did i miss something?

I know hehe..It's just tough because I'm very picky about specs and upgrade ability. I just wanted the support for 45nm to further increased the longevity of the notebook. But I've been waiting for over half a year already; and I do need a laptop this year. I'l stick with the C90s if the earliest sign of C90p isn't by 3rd quarter of this year. :)

I am not sure the US release date is June 5th, it only says:

    "ASUS at Computex 2007
For more details regarding these highlighted products, please come visit us at Hall 2, Stand F185 – F232 from June 5th – 9th, 2007."

By the way, Computex is in Taipei, Taiwan. :D

When I was going through the specifications for the C90S on the GenTech website, I noticed that the C90S had a crappy 6-cell battery, and I was wondering if there are dimensions available for this battery especially since this particular default battery for C90 gets used frequently in other ASUS laptops (like the Z line).

I personally have not dealt with many ASUS models, but I do know other common line of laptops that have replaceable batteries. I hope this is the case for ASUS.

Anyone know if the battery is a standard generic battery that can easily be replaced with other (and hopefully much better) batteries? If not, can anyone at least provide the dimensions/specifications of the battery besides "6 cell 4800mah 53wh"?
