My w3j just came today, and having a working battery now plugging it into a rj45 jack seems lame, even if most of my rooms have them. What is a good, but cheap and secure router that you would reccomend? I have zero experience with wireless.

All the different brand names that work with it together also work fine as long as they support IEEE 802.11a/b/g.....n. The organization in IEEE already have standarized all the latest device and technology for them, no anyone and manufacturers can modifiy them.
