    Got W3V... Want W3J!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi, I bought a W3V for xmas and now I've looked back at where I bought it and saw the W3J available, the amazing new processor, RAM, HDD and better graphics, so is there any way you can upgrade?

    If not, do you think "accidentally" dropping it on the floor from a great height and claming on the insurance would get me a W3J since the W3V is discontinued?

    insurance will just give u money. they dont care if something is discontinued or not. and is it even insured?

    If you claim to be a proud owner of a W3V as shown in your sig why would you "accidentally" break it? If you do I would'nt go telling people you did but I think being dishonest costs everyone more in the long run.

    B: W3j over W3v is mostly for gaming - do you game?
    C: Sell on Ebay if you want to get rid of it...at least then you'll not have pulled insurance fraud.

    Dec1mal, what's the point of you going from W3V (around 1600$) to a W3J (1800$) when all your getting is a 20% boots in CPU power and 3x more power from the GPU.

    Right why don't you break it after merom is released when you'll recieve about 50% boosts in CPU performance and possibly 4-5x more power from GPU.

    NO, im not saying you should take advantage of your insurance, (fraud), its illegal and you'll be caught.

    Here's what i suggest you do, like i do to many. ITS NOT WORTH upgrading or buying a new laptop if you gonna go from Pent-M to Yonah... Yonah is a bridge type CPU it means nothing for you with your Pent-M.

    Once Merom and Santa Rosa, then you shall feel interested in that because the technology will be almost 3 times more future proofed that Yonah anyways. And we are talking with in 1.5 years your gonna see this occuring.

    So people with Pent-M laptops should not go for Yonah laptops, they should wait till Merom or their laptop does not meet their needs. And then buy the current technology of the time.

    And for those people who needa laptop now, its no real point going for a Pent-M, because Yonah is newer and offers more of everything. (sorta)
