    I love it!

I'm not a major techie so I can't help much on speeds but the things is darn fast! No question about it. Compared to my desktop which isn't bad at all, this sucker's a speed demon. Converted some serious audio files in no time and htey usually take forever on the pc.

Very nicely laid out and i've been using it on ac power for about two hours now and it's still only mildly warm to the touch where the palmrest goes. Barely warm on the bottom and decently warm where the fan exhausts on the right side.

The screen is very glossy and if yuou like that, this is a beauty. I preferred something matte but this will work for me as well.

The keyboard is firm and responds well to the touch - I don't have a problem with the touchpad but it's not as responsive as some others I've used but it's fine.

All in all it's a perfect size for someone who wants a lightweight and portable but decent sized screen.

I got mine from AllAsus.com [highly recommend  ] and I added some memory and upped the HD to a 7200rpm so I paid some money for it but even in its original config this baby's a terrfic buy. I'm very glad I waited for it to show up in NA.

I don't know how well I can answer questions but you're welcome to ask :p

i think most questions have been answered....the main question has been the battery life and it seems that the answer is between 2.5 and just under 3 hours...of course more data is always welcomed heh

You can adjust the touchpad sensitivity settings, that seems to help the responsiveness.

Congrats on the new machine, please check in every once in a while to let us know how it's holding up. :)

Pics are on their way - I gotta figger out how to do it.

I'll try to adjust the sensitivity on the touchpad and see how it goes.

The heat is really not a problem at all. I had it running on ac power and batterrry for hours today and it never got more than slightly warm and that's with the 7200rpm hd.
