Hi there, has anyone here got Bioshock to work properly on there G1S laptop ?

mine seems to crash every 5 mins and will only run in DX9
and everything suggest that i update my Grfx drivers but the nvidia site sends me back to ASUS website and they havent updated them since last year ?

anyone got the game and found away to get it to work
or anyone know what and where to get newer drivers so the DX10 works properly for the game

    thanx paul

umm there has been alot of gameplay issues with that game, i bought it and couldnt play it for 6 months until the patch came out and even then still had issues, when i called 2k support they told me to turn down the high detail shaders and it worked alot better once i did that. this was on my quad core desktop running dual 8800gts's by the way.

The game runs "funny". When playing, it goes just fine, good framerates, etc...

But, it crashes at any second load point. Meaning, I can play a level just fine, but when I move onto another level, it will crash back to desktop. Thus, I have to save right before the loading a new level, exit the game, restart the game, and then load the second level. It will then play just fine until the third level, where I have to repeat the procedure.

You need to read the instructions before installing the drivers.
