    Green console?

    I recently purchased a new ASUS F8 Series laptop and love it. But there is one issue I am still trying to resolve. Apparently if i press the ctrl+spacebar+(any letter on the keyboard) it brings up a some sort of green console with Chinese characters. On the console, there's an arrow button that says "Finalize this string". Here is a screen shot:

    I mainly run into this when playing Source games because of the need to "crouch-jump", but I can pull it up at any time by pressing the keys.
    So my question is:
    1. What is it?
    2. Can I get rid of it? Or can I change the key combination to something different?
    3. If so, how?

    You've activated the language bar by pressing ctrl and space at the same time. You can disable it in your language options in the control panel.
