This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    hey guys, so i installed the sony handycam software for my v8, but it wanst compatible so i went to the cd and changed it to windowsxp compatibility mode...it installed but it didnt work. I'm getting the blue screen of death now...what should i do? much appreciated!

    Try to start Windows in Safe Mode, uninstall the Sony software, and then run a System Restore back to the last updated date. That might do the trick.
