    HELP! Asus 105pn problem

    My asus 105pn. Randomly the hard drive light is solid and everything stop responding. and nothing will open either. Other than the hard drive light staying on, it blinks for about half a second. in that time all sound cuts off and the mouse lags as well. i'm wondering why this is happening because we just replaced the hard drive not too long ago. i have opened up task manager to see what is happening but it says only 1-3 cpu is in use during one of these instances. my laptop runs on windows 7 starter. if anyone could help that would be really awesome, im flying out to my grandparents house in 4 days and i would really like to have a working computer when i do. any help would be appreciated.
