    Hey guys.

Its been nearly 2 months now since i got my M50sv-A1. Its good and all but i'm really hating the fact that mine's running on Vista. My previous laptop was the A8Jp and it seemed to be running smoother than the m50sv-a1 for games and my guess is because of the OS that i'm using.

So yeah... would anyone happen to know if there's like a guide in downgrading the m50sv-a1 from vista home premium to xp professional. For the xp license, i'm hoping i can still use the one from my old A8Jp cause it's actually spoilt already : my dad smashed it, literally. but if i can't, then i'll have to fork out for a new license.

Hope to hear from you guys.

    Thanks in advance

    Regards,

    Justin

The person who reviewed the M50sv-a1 chose to downgrade. Check if he had the drivers at his disposal. you can also contact your reseller or powernotebooks or xoticpc. I think they will help..

I think you need to patch the disc image.. they will make something such that the asus cd will not be usable in other machines..
