The WLAN led on an A2D should work with the latest available ProSet driver from Intel along with the latest available ATK0100 ACPI utility (if the one on the A2D page is old just get a newer one from the driver page of a more recent model).

Try getting it directly from Intel. This worked for me with a 2200BG on an A2D. The drivers from Asus didn't work. Also, as I said, I also had to grab a newer ATK0100 (v1043.2.15.48 I think) for the Fn-shortkey and the led to function.

How doe things look in the device manager? If activating the card cause a reset I'd at least try to remove all WLAN drivers and software, shut down, reseat the card/check wires, and start from scratch. You may then first want to try a driver only install with WZC to determine in the card works at all before attempting to set it up the way you want it.

Hi there, i finally got it working by downloading the file from Intel.

    So thanks for that.

Another question now the other LEd the on for email i believe it is? How do i get that to work?

I tried running the chkmail program built-in but nothing happens, so i dowloaded it off the asus website and the installation didnt fully work?

Does anyone know how to get the led for email 2 light up?

Are you using a mail client? (Outlook Express or Outlook?)
I think Chkmail communicates with those two programs.
