I'm booting off the CD and this new lappy doesn't wanna install XP. I need to dual boot since I've got some software not compatible with Vista yet so this is a problem for me.

So popping in the XP installation CD and loading something for several minutes, I got a BSOD error telling me that there is some hardware conflict and therefore it can't install. Have any of you encountered problems such as this before? Wish I can install linux on this, but alas, I need to run my XP programs.

    Thanks!
