I doubt the integrated graphics will be up to it, and if it is, it won't be very smooth. BUt if your intrested in playing some of the latest games, why get the W5 and not the W3 or the V6? They are designed more for gaming.

It should run on v.low settings.... checkout benchmarks for the intel900 there should be plenty around...HL2 scales very well and is unlike many of the new games like BF2 and Doom3 which wont run on a integrated GPU. But I would have to say that if your interested in gaming that the W3 is the better choice.

Ditto that....... if those games were something you weren't going to do very often at all and only really do to pass some time... then you could basically run anything thats more than a year old, just on lower settings. Most people don't by a little 12" widescreen to be gaming on, so perhaps that is what you're looking for.

so if HalfLife ran on the very lowest LOWEST settings, would the game still run smoothly?

how about a game such as NBA LIVE 2005, how would that go?

Ok here are a few links to benchmarks on the intel gma900...the numbers will be pretty much the same as the gpu is basically identical and these tests are not CPU limited.
Basically HL2 will probably run although on low res and lowest settings...the thing is that this game is great because it looks good, playing at these settings will loose most of the appeal. As for NBA this isnt a hughly taxing game so you should be ok with that...I have played FIFA05 on my M2N no prob's it also plays BF1942....just and that is the older i845 chipset.
