    Hi Everyone,

I posted a note earlier and discovered that it was common knowledge that my Hitachi TravelStar 100GB, 7200 hard drive is a searing sun of heat! Since reading the responses, I've been looking for a summary of wisdom about high performance 2.5" hard drives... No such luck... I thought that it would be nice to put a stake in the ground here and provide guidance for selecting a high performance gaming 2.5", SATA, hard disk drive for our C90S. For example:

    80GB/5400
    80GB/7200
    100GB/5400
    100GB/7200 (Hitachi, Q4, S3, H5)
    120GB/5400
    120GB/7200
    160GB/5400
    160GB/7200 (Seagate, Q4, S4, H3)
    200GB/5400
    200GB/7200
    250GB/5400
    250GB/7200

For each, let's rate them 1 (lowest) to 5 (highest) in terms of Quality, Speed, Heat). Of course this is all subjective, but the law of averages will prevail.

Hope this is a good idea,

    Mike
