    Hey all!

I think I might be having some hard-drive issues with my Asus G1s. I've been using Ubuntu for months, and really haven't had any issues until I've tried to use VMware/Virtual Box solutions running XP. I also have a dual boot with Vista.

Anyway, I ended up reinstalling Ubuntu to fix a problem. It fixed it, except now at least in Ubuntu everything is kinda laggy...especially so with the VMware software, which it wasn't like that before. Even more frustrating is I can't figure what's going wrong! I spent an entire day troubleshooting the VMware problem, installing XP, and then SP2, and then watch it take HOURS just to install photoshop...wtf.

Is there any way to check if my harddrive it failing?

    Thanks,
    Eric Huang

They're installed though...I'll run some error checking on my harddrive. It seems okay in Vista though.
