*SOLVED*Lately when I use ccleaner or auslogics bootspeed both programs delete my ATK registry keys and render my hot keys useless. It also removes my Nvidia tools startup OC settings at boot. Has this happend to anyone else? It's very frustrating having to download the ATK installs from Asus every time I use these programs.
Can anyone recommend another program that does not delete registry settings that my G71 needs to run optimal.
My last problem is that I can not use any of the 190.+ drivers from Nvidia. If I do I have glitches and inconsistant frames in all of my games so I'm using 186.61 at the moment with no problems what so ever. I want to upgrade but if I do I sacrifice performance, how annoying.
I've also done a clean install of W7 64bit HP and W7 64bit Ultimate and continue to run into this problem.
Thanks in advance.

My games were stuttering here and there. They also ran great at times and horrible at others. My PC was VERY inconsistant. For some reason my powermizer was causing my GPU to have VERY low clocks. I tried clean installing from W7 64 HP to W7 64 Ultimate and using ccleaner and auslogics bootspeed to get everything up to snuff. I also installed and uninstalled everything from 186.61 to 195.62 & Nvidia Tools 6.05 with no luck. Then I used GPU-Z to monitor the clocks. I noticed that ccleaner & auslogics delete registry entries that belong to Nvidia control panel & ATK registry entries that control my hotkeys.
Once I stopped using those programs, and doing a clean 195.62 install with Nvidia Tools 6.05. My problems have stopped. Now I use registry mechanic but I have to monitor it because I see a few of those entries show up in the removal process.
Oh yeah!! I also use NOD32 for an Anti-Virus program instead of AVG 9.0. Since installing NOD32 I have seen a huge increase in performance at bootup, on desktop and in game. -
Very good. I'm glad you were able to fix your computer. I was half hoping it was the same problem i had.... that way i would know wth is wrong with my computer...
but still. Glad it's fixed for you.
Has anyone else encountered these problems on their G71GX?
