    Hi.

    My situation is as follow
    1. I ordered Asus laptop from Provantage.
    2. I transferred the money to them (bank transfer). They got the money and processed my order.
    3. After waiting almost 40 days.(order got delayed 3 times), I decided to cancel the order.
But this is not a problem at all. I ordered a new item so this is normal. I decide to cancel because now I need money for something else.

    4. The status was 'backordered' when I request to cancel. They also told me that it can still be canceled. (I e-mailed to ask them about cancelling)
    5. Here comes the real problem: They canceled my order. But they don't tell me anything about the money I transferred to them!

I did ask about the money SEVERAL times in my last 4-5 e-mails I sent to them. All I get is an e-mail saying "my order is canceled".

    Can you believe this?

Oh, and there's absolutely no information about canceling the order on their website.

Now is a weekend. It's out of their office hours. I need your help guys.
I know they will give my money back.

But if anyone know, can you please tell me how they'll give it back. (because they don't tell me T_T!)

By check, Bank transer or even PayPal ?

I hope everyone here will understand my feeling. I'm not mad about money. I know they will somehow give it back. But I'm SO mad that they [don't tell me anything about my transferred money].

    Thank you everyone.

Dang that sucks I have never heard about the company before. Hope they will give you the refund. Anyways, Just if you get your money back never wire transfer your money if you havent heard about them.
If you get your money back I would suggest you get your system to the most reliable company. Like Newegg, Xoticpc.com and gentech.

I've ordered from them in the past. I didn't have an issue, but I always find calling a retailer is better than email so that nothing gets lost in translation.

I would follow up with them by phone ASAP. Emails are way to easy to avoid. It is there reputation on the line and people will take notice on these forums.
