Has anyone tried an X9000 or 9100 in a G71?

I have the BB G71 GX05. Love the bugger, but I'd like to kick it up a notch. I also have an ES X9100 that I had been planning on swapping into my Gateway, but the Gateway went back to TD. I know the chip fits, I'm just concerned about heat. The x9100s aren't the coolest chips in the bunch as opposed to their T9900 cousins. Anyone done the swap?

Yes, but ignoring that point ;) I know what an ES is and isn't.

I've tested a non-ES X9100 on my G71 and it works just fine.
