Just curious if any of you have tried this with the g51, and if so, what guide you found most helpful for doing this. I know google is my friend, but I want to get pointed in the right direction by you guys, because alot of computers are different it seems, and I don't want to fry mine.

Install windows first, leave an unformatted partition for the linux install, then install your linux distro on the unformatted partition. Ubuntu comes with a really nice bootloader that'll be easy to setup and configure. I havent tried it yet on my g51, mainly because i'm still waiting for it

In general, though, I completely agree with The Stamp. Install Windows first, then install Linux on the empty partition with a LiveCD. It should be a fairly easy process.
Have any of you tried dual booting with linux?
