    Hey there

I've recently bought a new HDD for my M70Vm but I can't get it to be recognised.

I can see it in the BIOS (when I press F2) to get into it but on POST the laptop double posts, the first time it just resets itself, then the second time it boots into windows but windows cannot see the new HDD.

I've turned quiet boot off and I can see that the laptop is auto-detecting the HDD in AHCPI port 4 but other than that I can't see anything else because it's to quick, even using the Pause/Break button doesn't help.

I've tried using my existing HDD in the 2nd HDD slot and the 1st slot and the HDD works in both, and the new HDD works in the both slots but when they are both in the bays the laptop does the above.

Is there something I need to do to get the HDD to be recognised?

EDIT - Never mind, I solved it. It turns out I had removable disk set at the top of the boot priority in the BIOS. Don't know why though.
