I just got my G1S. I'm very satisfied with it except for one thing. I went on system requirements lab to see if some of the games I bought would run properly. I downloaded drivers for the video card and they only worked from laptop video to go but not from the asus website it self. I get this message.

"The Nvidia setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. Setup will now exit."

I've been getting it all day. I'm going to try installing FEAR in a couple hours to see if they're just bull****ting me or not. But if it is bad, I'll update you guys. If anybody could give me some directions as to how to get this in good shape to play these games, it is appreciated.

This is a picture of the test. I got the same problem with BF 2142.

Are you you using the modded inf? You have to use those for the driver to work. Use the quickstart guide which will explain it all. Basically download the modded inf into the folder where you extracted the driver to, it will say do you want to replace blahblah.inf so click yes and then yo should be good to go.

The modded inf is right next to the driver download.

I'll try doing it again, I have it done it once though. I installed FEAR and when I tried to play it, I got this message:

"Unable to initialize the renderer to a valid video mode."

I don't know what that means.

I think there is a problem with your video card drivers. Make sure you install the drivers with the modded .INF file and them try FEAR again. You may have to reinstall the game after updating video card drivers.
