so I installed a new hard drive, inserted the recovery CD to recover windows 7. After the recovery Dvd finishes, it tells me to insert the "support CD". It only came with 3, the recovery, the drivers CD and some DVD burning CD. So I assumed it is the drivers CD. I put it in, press okay, and now it just shows a command prompt that says
E:\>start /w \I386\AsCopy.exe /copy64
and I dont hear the CD drive spinnng at all. I dont hear the computer doing anything for 30 + minutes.
Ideas?

Hello,
I have exactly the same problem, I would like to know how you managed to solve it... and if the system was ok for windows updates after the reboot
Thanks! -
I just waited and waited and finally it moved on from that screen and rebooted and did some other stuff and rebooted a bunch of times until finally it just shut itself off, meaning it was finished.
Just wait it out. -
thanks i am trying now
