I am trying to put my headset speaker plug in my notebook today but it just won't make any sound when I have it plugged in. It just happened for me today.

Some update, I right clicked on that sound thing in the bottom right, it shows that there is sound coming in, but when I do the test sound it says FAILED if I have the headset connected.

Tried that already, when I hook up any ear phones it would say that I have connected it but the sound just disappears.
