This is my first post here, I’ve built or upgraded several desktops / towers but never opened a Notebook. My Asus has a 256 GB SSD for C: and a 5400 RPM 2 TB HDD for D:.I originally bought the notebook for video editing, my applications on C: and the files I’m working on D:. What I’d like to do is to upgrade the SSD to a 1 or 2 TB and wondered how much effort it is to get to the solid state drive and maybe upgrade the memory from 16 GB to 32 GB. I downloaded a few older games from Steam that I used to play. I guess I could move the games to D: but want to run them from a SSD. It if makes any difference I have Win 10 Home. Thanks, Blair..

Yes i upgrade everything Hard disk,SSD,RAM,WiFi, see my signature.
1. First i start with change Hard Disk i put only SSD disk, and change my M.2 disk with NVMe disk, Samsung 970 Evo.
2. Ram before 2x4GB 2400Mhz, now i puted 2x16GB 2400Mhz.
3. Wifi before Intel 8265, now i puted Intel 9260NGW, and now i need to bay New Wifi Intel AX200 NGW to change again.
My Laptop (Asus Vivobook Pro N580VD): CPU i5 7300HQ / RAM 32GB DDR4 2400Mhz / Nvidia GTX1050 4GB / SSD Crucial MX300 1TB + 250GB NVMe Samsung 970Evo / WiFi Card Intel 9260NGW
If You bay NVMe disk you need to go in BIOS and:
Secure boot - Disabled
HDD Smart Test - Disabled
CSM - Disabled If Using Uefi Booting, if no is need to be Enable
