    Hi Folks,

First time poster, my Asus G1S simply switched itself off last night and won't switch back on. The power was plugged in at the time so it wasn't a dead battery, even leaving the power cord plugged in does not register any life in the laptop (charging). Does anybody know what the problem may be?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Try unplugging the AC cord, removing the battery, pressing the Power Button a few times, plugging in the AC cord and then turning on the notebook.
