    I have asus k42dr laptop and I cannot install windows XP but windows 7 is running okay.

    Please help me at the earliest to give me ideas about how I can install windows xp.

    Please its urgent

    Have you tried setting the bios to IDE mode? However i can't fathom why you'd want to use XP.
