Hi guys, I have been using my ASUS k42j on battery mode. I read in the e-manual that came with it. It stated that it is highly recommended to plug the power plug first to your notebook before plugging the adapter on A/C power supply as a precaution to taking good care of the internal hdd of a notebook. Hence, I do this. However, if I close my notebook lid, and open it again, it asks for the password and the smartlog-in thenI experience some screen fluctuation. So what I do (happened twice already, btw), I would disconnect the adpater on a/c power then connect it again. After which, the fluctuation stops then I'd receive an error: "ControlDeck.exe-Application Error" (as attached below). How do I solve this? What seems to be the problem? Do I have to disable the smart-log in? Thanks in advance :(
