My son has asked for a G51J with a Blue Ray added and Windows Prof instead of Home Premium so he can switch to XP mode, if needed.

My problem is....I can't find anyone that can make the changes to the G51J and get it here by Christmas. I think......the G71J is available with Blu Ray on it.

Is that a good substitute for a Mom that dropped the ball and didn't order soon enough for Christmas?

Does the G71 have the I7?
Does the G71 have at least as good of a video card, maybe better?

If you are a retailer and you can do the Blu Ray and Windows 7 Prof upgrade and get me the G51J or G71J by Christmas, feel free to contact me.

    Thank you!

    There's a G71J? I wasn't aware that they made a G71J.

But if it's a G71 and has the suffix "j", then it has a GTX 260m GPU, which is very competent, and some form of i7 CPU.

But for a G51J, try contacting Ken, who's a sales rep for GenTechPC. He is awesome, and I'm sure he could help you get a machine rushed to you.
