Hello i need help, im trying to buy a small pretty mobile laptop. I was first looking at the Dell XPS m1210, but i was informed that the Aj8s or the W3j would be a better buy. I need a new laptop because mine is out did its time, nad is starting to slowly break down. i just want something that can last me the next couple of years and wont be easily outgraded. I want to be able to play my games (Total War II) on it. I also have a ton of music i wish to be able to download to it. Im trying to keep my price around 1500 though I know this might be hard. I also want it to be capable for Windows vista when it comes out.
    Thank you for you time.

Given your price point, the A8js would be the better choice.

Given your expected longevity of the system, the W3jp has a much better build and better materials.

Either will do just fine for you, however both are very different than that m1210 you were looking at.

If you were looking at the m1210, you should also look at the Asus W7j. I'd either go for that or the A8js...

The W7J/m1210 (Geforce 7400 Go) is a completely different class then the A8Js (7700 Go) graphics wise, though. If I wanted something to last a couple years and play modern technology games, I would get an A8Js.

If I wanted something tiny and able to play my favorite games from 2-3 years ago, and current games that run well on a variety of system, I would get a W7J.

Of all people, I don't know why that wasn't the first one out of my mouth... you're absolutely right, a W7 would be absolutely perfect.
