I purchased this laptop as a replacement for my desk top
I do some web sites and design. However having a major problem with quark
    and photoshop.
The enter key acts like the enter key on a numeric keypad inasmuch as it returns to a new page rather than just dropping down a line. I need the enter key to act like a return - how do I do this? HELP

You should be able to change the behavior of the normal enter key by holding Fn while pressing enter.

Fn changes the behavior from a normal return to the enter on the numpad (the same as enabling NumLock). At least on my ASUS it does, sorry I've got no ideas if it doesn't work for you.
