I was going to get a lenovo laptop but I've decided that I need a nice video card for 3D applications, windows vista and a DVI output for a external LCD.

ASUS have so many good models but I don't know which one is right for me.

    I need the following configuration:

    CPU: At least Core duo
RAM: 512 or 1GB (I will upgrade this myself)
    HDD: At least 80GB
Graphic card: At least Med range card
    Optical Drive: DVD burner

    Other:

    MUST HAVE DVI output
    14" or 15" / Solid design / accpetable weight
High quality LCD screen (For photo editing and movie)
    Nice keyboard

    Thanks for the help guys!

    Couple of choices:
    - A8Jm
    - F3Jm (I think it has DVI...)
    - V1J (not yet available anywhere in NA)

Your location could change what you get e.g. If you're in the UK you can't get an F3Jm (at least I haven't seen one yet) but can find the similar, only slightly different F3Ja which does fulfil all the criteria you have listed above.
