There are a few mods I would like to do to my g50vt-x5 I am not sure if all of them are even possible. But any information helping me to mod my notebook would be extremely appreciated, thanks.

    1) install internal bluetooth module

    2) Backlit keyboard, g51 keyboard?

    3) Replace backside of monitor lid with a blank black one.

    4) 12 cell battery?

    1. It would be easier to buy a BT dongle.
    2. The G51 keyboard will not work in the g50.
    3. Follow the g50 disassembly guide in the owner's lounge.
    4. There is no 12-cell option for the G50/G51, only a 9-cell.

    3. I looked at the guide. It only deals with taking off the whole lcd monitor lid. I just want to take off the orange covering
