Im reinstalling windows tonight (vista business 32 bits) and was wondering if you guys may help me directing me to the newest drivers for each component (that have been tested not to have issues ;) )

also theres an option for the hard drive on the bios that says ACHI mode should i turn it on? (i have a sata drive)

I also remeber someone posting about an hdmi driver/fix is it necessary i tried it yesterday but couldnt get it to work (though i' never used an external screen before so i have no idea if i have to do something else besides conecting them :p )

(I remember that some have been posted but they are all scattered and maybe new ones are out?)

Id just use everything on the disk with maybe the exception of newer video card drivers, and sound card drivers.

(and of course the wireless drivers)

Just let windows update auto-install as many as it can, for any missing items use the disc. Video, wireless, & sound are best to search for.
I've had some boot crashes with the 158.36 drivers, but the ones that came with the disc had issues with HL2.

Yeah I think I caught word of the issues you have, they are not performance related like overheating, but stuff like plugging in a device causing a crash right?

Well that could partially be bios I think and also it could be the drivers for the usb and what not, however there are no new drivers for that stuff yet I dont think. If more people find they have the same problem then we can trace it down and Asus will barf up some new drivers to fix it eventually.

Only issue with the web cam I have had is that in XP the preview screen is all black, in Vista it works perfectly.

You are opening the web cam with its software or are you doing it thru another application's such as an instant messenger?

If its the later, its most probably a conflict with the software and not the c90's fault at all.

through the software.. strange though i havent notice it but till yesterday the icon had a drawing but now it looks like when a shortcut is missing its exe (but when cliking on it it still opens the webcam window) also my bluetooth radio is off and can turn it on ... it says plug in bluetooth module.. but it was working till yesterday... (just check and no driver conflict either)

edit -> lol i just imagine myself starring in a twilight zone episode

Has anyone tried to see if the Circuit City c90 has its own drivers from the manuf. They might have fixed the bios.
