I am really warming to Asus and I was hoping someone can point me towards a machine that has a 15"+ high quality screen, semi-portable/sleek and decently equipped...all for <$900. I am not a gamer but of course, would like the best spec I can get.I've been through the Asus website a few times and they don't make searching & comparing easy.I can wait until Thanksgiving; but I don't think I can wait for X-Mas. Thanks!

If you can bump up just a little more the N53SV series are really good for the price point, have a great design, and a good for mobility. You can get them with a nice 1920x1080 screen.

To stay under $900 the K53SV models are the ones to look at but the screen resolution max out at 1366x768

In that price range, I would look at the K series machines. I have actually owned one of the K series in the past (now have moved onto the G series) and it was a reliable machine. I passed it on and it still works well as an all around machine today!
