    I would suspect driver issues, in the first place. Did you try reinstalling the driver.

    Also search for this problem in the forums, I'm pretty sure people encountered it in the past. Search with, and also without, V1J added to the query terms.

    That has happened to me in two instances:

    1. Wasn't plugged in completely -> Make sure it's plugged all the way in.
    2. Wasn't sitting properly on the dock -> Make sure the laptop is properly seated.
