I just got a K52JT, I've got Windows 7 Pro. on it. I have a problem that occurs when I'm typing. All of a sudden, the cursor will jump to somewhere else, like a previous paragraph, and start putting my words there in the middle. It also will highlight chunks of words on it's own and delete them!

I know for a fact I am not touching the touchpad when this occurs. In fact, I did a little test and noticed that even if I just hover my finger or hand above the touchpad, without touching it, it will move around.

I've looked around to see if I could change sensitivity for it, but can't figure it out. I went to Device Manager to check to see if I have the latest driver for it, and it says that I do. What else can I try? I just got this notebook last week and need it for school, but I don't think I can stomach having to put up with this.

I have the same problem and so does a friend of mine. Its because you accidentally touch the trackpad with your hand without realizing it. Very Annoying.

I made absolutely CERTAIN that I did not touch it. It is doing it without being touched at all.
