Can anyone please recommend a specific home theater 5.1 setup for the Asus G1S? Preferably a mid-range setup? I need the name and model number.

I know the Asus G1S has Optional S/PDIF (right?), but when I go to the computer store to ask about which Home Theater Systems support SPDIF they just give me a blank look.

Which Toslink adaptor will I need?

Also, is a Home Theater okay for gaming on the G1S? I read somewhere there can be a slight sound delay with home theaters and notebooks.

    Thanks!

I use a male to male mini plug(Toslink) to Toslink optical cable. Monoprice has them for $3.00.

Thanks, do you have a link for the specific cable?

Which home theater setup are you using if I may ask?

Here is a link to a list of Toslink cables @ Monoprice, if you scroll down to the Toslink to Mini section where you'll find a range of cables from 3'-50'.

    AVR: Onkyo TX-SR805
Center channel, front towers, side surround and rear: Klipsch Reference Series
    Sub-woofer: Paradigm Reference 15

I am assuming you just want to know about my audio.

I'm planning to buy a Logitech Z5500. No bulky receiver, and I don't have much space left on my desk.
