You know I just noticed something & please correct me if I'm wrong.

In the excellent "The ASUS Info Booth" the info re "Dealers" is listed.

    BTOTech @ www.BTOTech.com (Member name: Geared2Play.com)
GenTechPC @ www.GenTechPC.com (Member name: GenTechPC)
    XoticPC @ www.xoticpc.com (Member name: Justin@XoticPC)
EXcaliberPC @ www.excaliberpc.com (Member name: EXcaliberPC)

However in the "Asus Laptops" link where they list all , or most , of the models , when you click on a particular Asus model you get a screen that shows a lot of places , Newegg , Amazon , ect , where one can purchase that model but none of the dealers listed above have their names/links included. How come ?

I mean these are the guys who not only sell Asus models but post to the Asus forum. I don't see a lot of posts from Amazon or Newegg answering questions about their sales or posting reviews & whatnot. I'm not saying listing the big sellers is wrong but the dealers who post here should be listed as well.

I think the ones like Justin etc are resellers of Sager and they have their own business.

Asus probably dnt have some one.

Unlike Amazon and Newegg, these 4 small dedicated resellers offer you custom tailored NB to your specs and their participation in forum benefits both sides

How 'bout this...Notebook Review In The Asus Forum ?

Why aren't the sellers who post & answer questions about their products listed in this link:

    http://www.notebookreview.com/price/default.asp?brandName=Asus&brandID=30

Simple enough question...at least I thought it was.

simple answer too- NBR gets paid advertising from each of those links you click, and the Asus resellers mentioned above either didn't pay to advertise here or they don't go through the ad company that NBR uses for the links.

Makes sense...so each time the link(s) are pressed NBR gets the bucks for the click.

    Thanks.

Yep, that's the short definition of online advertising :)
