I assume you've connected your s-video cable from the laptop output to your TV. All you have to do is extend desktop to secondary monitor from your display properties. Or you can use Fn+F8 to mirror your monitor.

You may have to adjust the resolution of the extended display. I'm using the Catalyst 7.3 drivers and CCC never has an issue detecting the external display once I connect it, either by VGA or S-Video/Composite.

Once the S-video is plugged into the TV, restart the computer. For me, sometimes the restart alerts the video card that there's another connection and gets it working.

Did you disable some of the ATI startup programs? Sometimes that has a habit of interfering with it.

There's also the fact that you're using the Omega drivers. Is there any reason that you need to be using them except for the fact that they're tweaked for games? Maybe try putting the ASUS ones back?

Also, when you press the Fn-F8 button, do you see the modes scroll by in the upper left of the screen (ie: LCD, TV, CRT, LCD+CRT, etc.) each time you press it? If not, maybe you don't have HControl or whatever is responsible for that loaded. Might interfere with that functionality also.

I'm inclined to think it might be a driver thing, since even Intel's basic drivers don't work with ASUS' software switch without some modification.
