    How do I downgrade to xp?

    I ordered an Asus N10JH and it's the newer version which doesn't come with a downgrade xp disc. Is there any way to downgrade to xp for free?
    Thanks.

    edit: Oh, and what about using a windows XP disc that I already own? Could I use the windows vista product key/license to swap vista out for xp?

    You can use a XP disc that you already own. I installed XP home edition on my laptop after it was already on an old desktop (still is) and it not only allowed install but also passes the"genuine" registering process that all copies of windows must go through after a certain time.
