    Hello All,

I'm a newbie here. I just bought an ASUS M51SN-C1 RTL with Vista Home installed and I want to reformat the hard drive and wipe it clean, then install XP Home. The other issue I just found out is that I also need other drivers for the laptop (to make XP work properly), which I didn't know about until after the fact. I feel like a bit of a dolt here. I did what I thought was good research, now I'm finding out that I missed quite a bit.

Can anyone help me? I'd really like to resolve these problems if I can.

    Thanks,

    Nathan

    Welcome to the forum!

The XP downgrade guides are found in the Info Booth sticky at the top of the forum page. You can read through them to get a feel for the procedure, then for your specific model here's the direct link for you regarding driver issues.

    You're welcome :).
