    How do i do factory restore from the Recovery Partition??

    I want to reinstall my windows and i have a recovery partition...

    So how do i recover?

    Not sure what model you have but on my G50VT you do the following:

    Restart your computer. Press F9 key immediately when the ASUS logo appears. It will start the recovery procedure, including the installation of all the drivers and utilities. Follow the instructions. Your computer will be restored to the factory settings.

    On a related note, If I delete the partition can I recover it using the recovery disks?

    Maybe I'm misunderstanding the English here, but just a clarification: If you delete the recovery partition, the DVD will not restore the recovery partition itself. The DVD only allows you to restore Windows, but not to the exact factory state (pretty close though) that is on the HDD recovery partition. The HDD is a bit faster, but the advantage of the DVD is that you can pick and choose which or none of the bloatware you want to install.
